United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
United Methodist Women have a clear focus on missions. They make a difference throughout the world. They actively contribute time, resources, and funding, nationally and locally, to many different organizations. In addition to serving funeral meals for our bereaving families, United Methodist Women are often called on to provide food and hostess duties at many church functions.
United Methodist Women prepare throughout the year for presentation kits to the Festival of Sharing, a state-wide interdenominational event held annually at the Missouri State Fair Grounds in Sedalia.
