The staff at Schweitzer is always amazing. I know that staff come and go but we are such a blessed church to have the caring people who serve us and the Lord. I have been a member of for 15 years give or take a few years. My attendance sporadic and I am not sure where I fit however it is the most welcoming environment to return to on Sundays. Thank you for all you do and caring and hard work it takes to meet the needs of so many.
In today's sermon (1/27), you made a statement to the effect that Islam was the last of the major religions established since the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I was curious as to your thoughts on The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. Do you not consider them a major religion or is that something you addressed in a earlier sermon which I missed?
Bob,
I like your emphasis on our need to understand people of other faiths. Having grown up on the mission field in India I am likely to be extra sensitive to these matters. It is great to see that Schweitzer is studying world religions. It is great also to see that you are using this amazing technology. Best wishes...Max
