Now What

It was a wonderful week at Schweitzer. From the time we gathered Good Friday to experience worship and the significance of the cross to the Children’s Celebration on Saturday to the worship of the Risen Christ on Easter our church was full of people, God’s people. Young and old we came together to
celebrate the amazing fact: He Is Risen!

And now the Easter Church continues! We can never be the same. Each time we celebrate the amazing power of Jesus Christ we are called to respond. There must be some way we join in the kingdom of God and live as people redeemed, forgiven and loved. So we ask the question, “Now What?”

The next four weeks we will be answering this question in worship with a sermon series based on the resurrection stories. The followers of Christ had been changed and needed direction and hope for their lives. And Jesus comes.

It happens again and again: on the road to Emmaus, in the upper room, by the water’s edge, on a mountain top. Jesus comes to his people and he comes to us today.

What will be your response to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus? Join us in worship; enter into the fellowship of the follower’s of Jesus at Schweitzer. Come meet the Christ!
Blessings, Lori
