The purpose of Children’s Ministries at Schweitzer United Methodist Church is to provide an opportunity for each child to form a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Allowing each child to learn, grow, and develop at their own pace as they begin their personal journey with Christ.

Ongoing Children's Ministry

Tween Time

4th & 5th Graders meet once a month for fellowship, fun and spiritual discovery.  Depending on the month and the event the children will either meet in the Schweitzer Gym or take a field trip.

Live Big

Hear, See, and Live your Belief in God.

Who:  Ages 4 – 2nd Grade

Where: Cather Room 104

When:  Sunday morning during the 8:20 after the Children’s Time, 11:00am service and during the 

7:00pm Thursday evening service.

Acolytes

An opportunity for children ages 4th – 7th grade to serve during the 8:20am worship service.  Acolytes provide the lighting of the alter candles and assist the pastors.  Training classes are held regularly to assist the youth with worship responsibilities.  Any questions; Please contact Liz Craig, Director of Children’s Ministries, at 881-1447, ext. 135.
