Children's Groups

Tween Time
4th & 5th Graders meet once a month for fellowship, fun and spiritual discovery.  We meet in the Schweitzer Gym or take field trips.  It varies from month to month.

Sonshine Kids
5 - 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening program for children ages 4, 5, & Kindergarten.  Children will learn through storytelling, crafts, fun, and fellowship.  This class will help your preschooler learn to care about others, serve their families, their church, their community, and their world.  Come and join us!  Open September though April.

Pathways
4:30 - 5:00 p.m.  Wednesday evening program for missions, fellowship, and faith development.  This class is for children in the first and second grades.  Pathways will teach your children the fun and value of serving others.

Sprouts
4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening program for grades 3, 4, and 5.  This class helps children learn through outreach projects.  Through Sprouts, children will understand when we serve others, we’re serving God.  Come and join us!  Open September through April.

Bible Matinee
Who: Ages 4, 5, & K & Grades 1 & 2 (Cather Rm. 104).
When: Sunday mornings during the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services after the Children’s Time.
You are invited to participate in a special worship time:
*Bible stories will come alive through storytellers, videos, creative learning activities, songs, and games.
*Schweitzer Puppeteers.

Acolytes
If you are a boy or girl in the fourth through seventh grade and would like to be involved in the 8:30 a.m. worship service lighting candles, and assisting the pastors, please call Liz Craig, 881-1447, ext. 135.  Training classes are held regularly to assist the youth with worship responsibilities.
