Media

Accendo (ə - kin' - dō) is the name of the media ministry at Schweitzer. Accendo is Latin and means to kindle, illuminate, inflame, or ignite. The goal of our media ministry is to light spiritual fires in new ways. Similarly to the way Johann Gutenberg used the printing press to produce more Bibles we strive to redeem technology to communicate to those around us. Jesus lived in a culture with an oral tradition and told stories as his main way of communicating. Our culture is more focused on visual presentation and the Internet.

This is an exciting ministry and you're invited to participate. No experience is needed to serve.
