Adult Choirs

There are adult choirs available for all ages and skill levels at Schweitzer! These choirs rehearse Wednesday nights and a part of weekly worship.

Chancel Choir This is a group of adult singers who minister in the 8:30 Sunday morning worship service.  Rehearsals are at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.  This Choir is focused mainly on traditional choral music. Directed by Kevin Hawkins.

Sanctuary Choir This is a choir of adult singers who sing in the 11:00 Sunday morning worship service. Rehearsals are at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. This group sings music from a variety of musical styles and combines with the Chancel Choir for musicals with orchestra for various events each year. Directed by Kevin Hawkins.

Schweitzer Singers This auditioned ensemble sings challenging music throughout the year. For information about this new ensemble, contact Kris Kaatz.

Joy Singers Designed for adults age 55 and over, this fun group meets on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m.  The Senior Saints Choir minister throughout the area as well as in the our church. Directed by Gail Randolph

Schweitzer Bells This high school/adult hand bell ensemble rehearses on Tuesday mornings.  Music reading skills are preferred. Directed by Beth Young

J-O-Y Ringers This adult ensemble of men and women rehearses on Wednesdays.  The J-O-Y Ringers minister throughout the area as well as in our church. Directed by Margene Stueven
