The purpose of Kid’s Ministries at Schweitzer United Methodist Church is to provide an opportunity for each child to form a relationship with Jesus Christ. Allowing each child to learn, grow, and develop at their own pace as they begin their personal journey with Christ.
Ongoing Kids Ministry
MidWeek Kids
Kids Wednesday Evening ministries for children ages 4 years through 5th grade. Build Friendships Learn the New Testament Music, Fellowship and Fun! Meets at 6pm in Room 112. After you drop of your kids, be sure to check out MidWeek for yourself!
Tween Time
4th & 5th Graders meet once a month for fellowship, fun and spiritual discovery. Depending on the month and the event the children will either meet in the Schweitzer Gym or take a field trip.
Kid's Worship
Hear, See, and Live your Belief in God.
Who: Ages 4 – 2nd Grade
Where: Cather Room 109
When: Sunday morning after Children’s Time at 8:20 and 11:00 worship.
Acolytes
An opportunity for kids ages 4th – 7th grade to serve during the 8:20am worship service. Acolytes provide the lighting of the alter candles and assist the pastors.
