Mayme's Nurseries & Childcare

Nursery Hours

Sunday mornings from 8:00 am to 12:05pm, and Wednesday evenings 6:00pm – 8:30pm.

For Safety measures a vibrating pager is provided to the parents upon request.

Childcare for children (infant through grade 2) is available for special church services and activities throughout the year.  Please refer to the church bulletin or call the church office for additional information.

Registration

Please inform nursery staff of any important information regarding your child.  In addition, please provide any necessary items for your child. 

Locations

Nurseries are located at the North end of the Cather Building.

Crib Nursery (Dodge 129)

Consist of newborns to one year or walking defensively.

18 Months - 2's (Gym Hall 140)

Primarily supervised play time.

Nurseries for ages 2 – 3 (Gym Hall 142)

Supervised play time with several structured activities.

Mayme's Nurseries & Childcare

Our mission is to provide a caring, safe and loving environment for the children of those involved in the small groups, programs, and activities of Schweitzer United Methodist Church.

Summer Children's Ministries

Summer ministries include M&M’s (mini Methodist), Vacation Bible School, Church camp and other special activities.

Children’s Groups

There are a wide variety of programs for children; some meet weekly and others meet monthly.

Sunday Classes

Children’s Sunday Classes are offered at 9:45am for children of all ages.

Grow To Know Preschool

The teachers and staff believe that we are all called by God to provide a rich, loving atmosphere in which children can learn and grow. Learning and growing opportunities are available for children 2 -5 years old.
