We've adopted a village! We are joining with Rainbow Network to change the lives of 370 people in Nicaragua over the next three years. Our financial support will provide medical care, education, and micro loans to the people of Silvio Mayorga. With a budget of $20,000/ year, this figures out to just $54 per villager each year. On Sunday, May 6th, we were honored to have Nelsen Palacios join us at the 11:00 worship service. Nelsen is the Director for Rainbow Network in Nicaragua. He thanked us for supporting Silvio Mayorga and gave several examples of how we are making a difference in the lives of the people there. He also presented the congregation with a framed drawing created by a 5th grade student from our village as a way to thank us.
